Spanish conversation
Spanish is supposed to be fun. Our approach is conversational, cultural and practical. We focus on easy-to-remember phrases you can use when you meet people. You’ll also have opportunities for additional conversation practice, out of class, to be coached by native speakers on accent, intonation, and phrasing.
Sobre el Español (About Spanish)
Spanish is the language of sports, music, fashion and passion.
Around two dozen countries speak Spanish, including the United States, where there over 50 million speakers. There are thousands of native speakers of Spanish in Indonesia, as well as concerts and cultural events sponsored each month by the embassies of Spain, Mexico, Colombia and other countries.
Spanish pronunciation is very similar to Indonesian (and Japanese). As regards vocabulary and grammar, there’s a big overlap with English. Also, if you learn Spanish then it will be considerably easier to learn other Romance languages, such as French, Portuguese and Italian.
¡Para Adelate! (Advance!)
